I went to Trader Joe’s recently with the intention of getting the essentials—produce, meats, tuna fish, and beans. Somehow, I managed to walk out with a cart full of the latest sugary treats from Trader Joe's—whoops! See below for some of the best new Trader Joe's items that should take care of any sweet tooth!

1. These Sprinkles Walked into a Sandwich Cookie

I am a dedicated fan of the peppermint Jo-Jos that are out during the holiday season (and when I say dedicated, I buy several boxes at once). But man - if these little cookies don’t give Jo Jo’s a run for their money as becoming #1 in my heart, I don’t know what will—butter cookies filled with a cream frosting and sprinkles. Think birthday cake.

2. Dulce de Lece Ice Cream

Ice cream, anyone? You can’t go wrong with this new limited-edition flavor. It’s caramel-flavored ice cream with a dulce de leche (more caramel) swirl throughout—caramel upon caramel upon caramel. It's delightful when paired with a little cup of espresso.

3. Vanilla Cookie Thins

Wisp thin and not overly sweet, these cookie thins are a perfect little something to satiate that sweet tooth. Be careful; these unassuming little cookies can leave you eating an entire sleeve before you realize what happened. I broke them up and put them over the Dulce de Delce ice cream, and I think I’ve found my new favorite late-night snack. (I’m also a huge fan of the ginger cookie thins as well)

4. Cookies & Creme Pretzel Slims

Pretzels, Cookies & Chocolate? Yes, please. I love regular pretzel slims to dip into hummus, tzatziki, and the fabulous Unexpected Cheddar Spread for a savory snack. This combo is a genius for a sweet snack! Pretzel slims coated in Joe Joe Cookie bits with a chocolate drizzle.

5. Brown Butter Salted Caramel Mini Biscotti

Easy breakfast Alert! This little biscotti is the perfect morning partner for a hot cup of coffee. I ended up dipping the biscotti into honey-flavored Greek yogurt. The combo made me feel like I was having something decadent when, in reality, each biscotti is only 60 calories.

6. Cinnamon Twist Danish

This combination of a custard-filled pasty and cinnamon roll is crazy good. Sweet and sticky with a little crunch, if you like cinnamon buns, run, don’t walk. It’s clearly a household favorite, as every time I walk by it, more and more seem to have disappeared. Tip: This is best when it’s heated with a little melted butter on top. You’ll thank me later.

7. Celebration Cake & Baking Mix

Admittedly, I have yet to try this. Upon checking out and seeing the crazy amount of sweet stuff in my cart, the lovely Trader Joe’s employee told me to grab a box of this. She said it’s great for making birthday pops and cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. Sold!!

8. Double Chocolate Croissants

I'm going to eat these delicious flaky chocolatey croissants with my eyes closed and imagine I'm sitting at little cafe somewhere in France. I'm a croissant snob, and these are pretty darn good.

9. Scandinavian Swimmers

I know, I know. These are not new and have been around for ages. But it feels a little like having a new baby and not acknowledging the older sibling. This is my older sibling I have to praise. I heart these little gummies.
